Plot:

The story is set in Indian state of Goa and takes place mainly at a Catholic family home where Steven (Sunil Shetty) and his wife Nancy (Aarti Chabria) live with his parents. When the story opens, it is the day of Steven’s father’s funeral and, while in the process of organising this event, Steven and Nancy plan to purchase a flat and move away from the parental home. Steven’s brother Brian (Aashish Chaudhary), a renowned novelist living in Mumbai, would rather spend his money on a First Class airline ticket to Goa than help finance the funeral, leaving Steven to cover the burial expenses. As guests begin to arrive at the family home, where a brief service is being held, he struggles to complete a eulogy, although everyone expects Brian the writer will be the one to deliver some appropriate remarks.

Plot: Rishi, the son of legendary Raj Kapoor, decides to try his hand at politics, and to garner support, re-locates to his birth village, Hadbahedi. The village is located in an isolated area where most trains do not stop, and electricity is only available for about 6 hours a day. He also decides to shoot a film ‘Khooni Khazana’ with Producer/Director, Malkani. Once there, he secretly makes a deal to lend his name to an alcoholic beverage, in exchange for a plot of land in nearby Triphala, and one Crore Rupees, while pledging to the naive villagers that he has no intention to re-locating anywhere. Misled villagers believe Hadbahedi will get popular and modernized, and decide to assist him with all their might. Things escalate into chaos, and anger, when they find out that their valuables are being stolen, and the women being molested, by the film crew, while the police accuse them of harboring a terrorist who was responsible for the December 13, 2001, attack on the Indian Parliament.

Plot:

Aarav “Sarkar” Malhotra (Akshay Kumar) runs a fishing company in the Bahamas, in which Sagar “Sethji” Singh (Sanjay Dutt) is a diver. While Aarav has done well for himself, Sagar is under a financial crisis. To help him, Aarav advises Sagar to retrieve the lost treasure of a sunken ship called Lady in Blue. Synopsis:

Acid Factory is about a group of characters whose sense of past has vanished in a haze of coma like sleep they have woken up from only to discover that reality could be a figment of their imagination.

Their sense of right or wrong is heightened by this state of complete distrust and self righteousness.

As the story reveals through the hazy mist of confusion confounded by loss off memory, the audience is just shown the tip of the iceberg. Five men wake up inside the stolid confines of a factory to find themselves locked in this claustrophobic nowhere land. As the plot unfolds we gradually learn that two of the people who are trapped have been kidnapped and held hostage by the rest of the three for a heist. But the irony is they themselves do not know who the hostages are and who the kidnappers are. The plot is like a Rubik cube that acquires the contours of solid colours on each side as the narrative unfolds. Their fears are heightened by a phone call from the leader of the gang of goons who informs them that he is on his way with the heist and plans to knock off the two hostages as soon as he arrives. Every one fears for their lives as they are unaware about the fact which two of them are the hostages. They plan escape, fail and end lunging at each other in despair as the clock ticks away. Individual foibles and shortcomings surface in this final hour of despair. Like caged animals they alternately bicker among themselves and then jointly plan means of escape but to no avail. The Big Boss eventually arrives.

Plot:

During the 1947 partition, the Lahore based family of Rajveer (Rishi) and Amrit (Rekha) has to flee Pakistan and settle in Amritsar, Punjab. In the house that they get to stay, Amrit finds an abandoned baby boy of the Muslim family who owned the house but fled to Pakistan because of communal riots. Amrit raises the boy as her own and he grows up to be Ishaan (Luv). During a summer camp visit to Kashmir, Ishaan falls in love with Chandni (Ferena). When he goes to her house to ask her hand in marriage, her father (Deep Dhillon) and uncle (Ahmed Khan) tell him to forget her as they are against her marrying a Hindu boy. When Amrit and Rajveer come to know about this they finally declare the truth to Ishaan that he is a Muslim in reality and not their own child. He doesn’t believe them and Chandni’s parents refuse to believe it without proof. The old couple then decide to track Ishaan’s real parents down and also succeed. Ishaan’s real mother Benazir (Hema Malini) comes down with his real father (Javed Sheikh) to take back custody of a now grown up Ishaan. Chandni’s parents immediately agree to the marriage when Ishaan’s real parents visit their house. What complications arise when Ishaan’s parents start making plans to take back Ishaan and his bride back to Pakistan and how they are handled by the principal characters forms the rest of the plot.
